I have not done this for over a year – my writings is dreadful, my speech is also rubbish. BUT both are better than they were.
Even my hair is getting longer. So, this is a start – onward and upwards! What this space…
This is a diary by an ordinary woman who suddenly had ovarian cancer. Extraordinary! And rather startling to say the least. Since then I have had an aneurysmal subarachnoid haemorrhage… plus an interesting type of stroke. And I have aphasia. The never ending, invisible disablement 🦹🏼 So - such fun right?
I've been reading your blog posts since 2008, when I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer stage 3c. Please let me know how you are.
ReplyDeleteHow in the world are you?

Hi, I find your story truly inspiring. My mam died of ovarian cancer in November 2015. I have written a book aimed at not just offering up the facts about Ovarian Cancer but crucially telling REAL life stories. I am looking for people who can help me spread the word. You can find details at my blog or via http://www.luv2write.net/ovarian-cancer.html HUGE HUGS and respect to all you women that are currently battling the disease! xxx
ReplyDeleteHow are you getting along these days? Would love to hear from you! Hope all is well in your world.
ReplyDeleteHi Denise,
ReplyDeleteI still can't write very well - but I am still trying. I’m better than I was :)
Off to the RD&E to have a Clinic Genetics today – three year to be able to go and actually speak.
Hope you’re also OK?
